Pets’ loyalty and devotion to their owners often shine through in crucial moments.
Take a friend of mine, for example. He frequently dreamed of being in perilous situations, yet there was always a vague figure that appeared to help at the critical moment. Later on, this friend
encountered an accident in real life. Although he got injured, it didn’t lead to severe consequences. Shortly after, his dog passed away due to illness. This can’t help but make one wonder if pets are indeed repaying their owners in some way, shielding them from disasters.
Consider another story. A woman was traveling when she was caught in a landslide. At the critical juncture, her pet cat stepped forward, biting her clothes and dragging her to a safe place. The woman was ultimately saved, but the pet cat got injured in the process. These stories all demonstrate the deep affection and brave fearlessness of pets towards their owners.
Let’s take the story of a scavenger and a big yellow dog. After the old man rescued the big yellow dog from a dog meat shop, the dog stayed by his side ever since. It not only helped the old man collect waste but also stepped up to save his life when he was in danger. These pets have interpreted what true loyalty and protection mean with their actions. They never forget the nurturing grace of their owners and will unhesitatingly give everything for them in critical moments.
The concept of karma involving pets may be mysterious, but it profoundly reflects the deep emotional bond between humans and pets. In this uncertain world, the loyalty, companionship, and love that pets give us are so pure and precious. They are not only our life companions but also the solace for our souls.
Therefore, we should treat pets with kindness, care, and respect. Our actions not only affect the fate of pets but also our own life trajectory. To love pets well is not just about providing them with food and shelter, but also about feeling their needs with our hearts and giving them enough attention and companionship.
When pets pass away, we shouldn’t be too sad. In a sense, it might be that they have completed their mission in this life and embarked on a new journey. We should be happy for them and wish them a better life in the new world.
At the same time, pets seem to be a mirror of their owners, reflecting their inner world. If the owner has a kind and loving heart, then the pet will show gentle and lovely qualities. On the contrary, if the owner is selfish and indifferent, then the pet may become restless, anxious, and aggressive. Therefore, we should treat pets with a kind heart and let them grow in an environment full of love.
Soul Levels and Pets
In the hierarchy of soul levels, humans are typically regarded as having the highest. Aristotle categorized souls into three types: plants have the vegetative soul, animals the sensitive soul, and humans the rational soul. As we move from plants to humans, each higher soul level incorporates the abilities of the lower ones.
Analysis of Different Existences’ Soul Levels
Earth’s “lithosphere” formed around 4.4 billion years ago. Stones, enduring eons, embody an existence beyond human understanding, reminding us that humans are recent and minuscule arrivals on Earth. Stones possess the lowest soul level, with negligible capacity for absorbing or releasing energy, no wisdom or mental faculties, a long lifespan, and virtually no vitality.
Plants rank above stones in soul level. They can absorb and release energy to some degree. They have an average lifespan, lack wisdom and mental power, and have less vitality than the earth itself.
